Is this just in need of an LCD swap, or could there be something else to check first? Does ifixit have an LCD only available, or only the entire lid? Looks like the LCD panel got a wack. Chosen Solution I have a’‘‘Samsung UN55NU6900FXZA that when I turn it on the backlights flicker on and then off, there is also no sound. The on button flashes twice when the blacklight comes on. I replaced the board with a know good one and its the same thing. I removed one ribbon cable and nothing, but when I reattach the cable and remove the other ribbon cable the back lights stay on and the tv has sound but still no picture....

Chosen Solution MBP model is A2159. I am able to view the login screen properly upon opening the lid. I can type in the password and can reach the home screen. After some time (the shortest being 5 seconds and the longest being 1 minute) the screen goes black with blueish vertical lines as shown below. During this time the screen stays undisturbed. Every time I open the lid the display shows up correctly and then goes black....

Chosen Solution My nokia 1520 cracked and is working well. Do I need digitizer or scree replacement I just replaced LCD + Digitizer on my wife’s. Her digitizer was shattered, and I was unable to separate it from the LCD because it was so shattered, in fact, i tried, but ended up ruining her LCD. The LCD+Digitizer itself is fairly straight forward to replace, the hardest part was getting the battery out....
Chosen Solution what material is the heating wire wrapped around @tripdabtrav we of course do not know exactly what this manufacturer is using but most common wire used for the heating element is an alloy of nickel and chromium; Nichrome Wire. There are of course multiple other alloys used for this. Check on places like Alibaba.com and search for Toaster element wire. “tons” of them available.

Most times, it is only one screw on the bottom of the laptop and the DVD/CD drive can be pulled out. Lay the laptop down on its backside to expose the bottom case....

Chosen Solution Electric golf cart will not move when key is turned is turned. Doesn’t happen all the time. Very sporadic. Sometimes when I want to go in reverse sometimes when I want to go forward. I just keep turning key to off and then back to reverse of forward and then it starts to work. Ours had a dirty switches that we cleaned with contact spray. The battery was bad too....

Chosen Solution So I have a Hotpoint ff175 where the relay in the PCB starts clicking at a rate of once to three times per second or so and won’t stop until I disconnect power for 5 minutes. Then it might run again for 30min to 3 hours without any clicking, but when it starts again it won’t stop until I disconnect power. I checked the relay with a multimeter but it seems fine....
