Chosen Solution Hello Everyone!, I had disassembled a HTC One M8 and there was taping on the top that another technician had threw away. I tried assembling it and it worked perfectly, except it will not pick up a signal from any sim card I put in there. When I took the M8 out of its casing it will pick up the carrier signal perfectly fine. I am not to sure if the tape was the issue but every guide ive seen for the phone doesnt seem to have the tape on it If you guys could please help me Thanks in advance...

Now on to your laptop: unfortunately the power jack is soldered to the motherboard, so you might have to send this in to some computer repair shop to fix it if you think that you couldn’t fix it by yourself....

Chosen Solution My screen has no black, it shows a kind of green. First check your connections, are they loose tighten them up and check again. Check whether they are infect with rust if yes treat them. At last remove back cover of display there must be a wire covered by black tape a mini tad attached to that wire dismantle that and clean thoroughly and fix again you have successfully resolved the issue

Chosen Solution We have a Dacor ERD48 dual fuel range. When in back mode, the oven seems to come up to temperature (or past). The bottom electrical element glows red so I think it is working correctly. However, after reaching temperature, the element turns off and the temperature drops about 50 degrees (as measure by Fluke meter) before the element gets hot again. Most of the time, the oven is well below the set temperature even though the oven thinks it is at the correct temperature....

Chosen Solution Hi there, hope you can help! I have a Delonghi EC820.B coffee machine. All of a sudden, my machine has stopped working. Without the sump on, water runs out through the diffuser quite nicely. But whenever I put on the sump with a filter engaged (correctly), water only collects in the filter and doesn’t pass through. This is the same whether there’s coffee in the filter or not. When I remove the sump, the air pops and a little steam puffs out, suggesting there’s good pressure in there....

Chosen Solution replaced digitizer. had to move old home button over to new digitizer. new home ribon not siting properly. unable to get home button to function properly. dose any one know it a digitizer can be purchased with a home button preinstalled? You can purchase the screens with the home button installed, obviously you’ll still have to connect it to the motherboard itself, when you’re putting the screen down just clip the home cable under the frame where it sits

Chosen Solution So my step daughter gave me her old iPhone 5s because I want to give it to my uncle who has the same provider that she does. the problem is, its disabled. it says “IPhone is disabled, connect to ITunes” but when I connect it says to answer on the phone to allow iTunes to sync. but I get no message on the iPhone to be able to do that....

I dropped my phone and the screen is perfectly fine, but everything on the bottom is not working (SIM reader, charging port, mic, and speaker). Also the wide angle lense is broken as well. Chosen Solution Stupid question….I dropped my phone down the toilet and put it in rice, obviously won’t turn on. Wondering if it could ever be brought back to life? @chainsawmaniac skip the rice. It does not work and does not do anything but provide you with a false sense of security. It is the equivalent of doing nothing. Every hour you leave your phone in rice is an hour wasted and an hour sooner for corrosion to set in....

Chosen Solution my microwave has 5e on display and the touch pad not working to clear Hello. Chosen Solution I have two Magic Mouse that have gone the way of the buffalo because the batteries have leaked. I’m pretty sure the rest of the components are good to go, but I’d love to see someone post a tutorial on how to fix this issue. Note: I’ve already done the white vinegar on a Q-tip trick to remove crusty battery acid, but alas my battery acid problem wasn’t resolved....

Chosen Solution i just got my garmin vivosmart Hr yesterday and I have went up 5 sets of stairs already and its not recording it at all. The floors climbed feature is based off of the barometer on the back of the watch. It is located between the two sets of charging contacts. It is looking for the barometric pressure to decrees enough to indicate 10+ feet of altitude change. If your stairs are not tall enough or if your house is sealed well enough it is possible it just didn’t see enough of a change....

Chosen Solution do you know how to take pin numbers off without doing the pin number No I don’t know how to take off the i know on the xbox 360 you could block xbox live access with an access code and if it was forgotten a simple account removal and redownloading the account was all that was needed to remove the code. not sure about the xbox one but it might be worth a try....

Chosen Solution I have a Kenmore elite that the freezer is cold but not freezing. Only part of the coils have frost. Am I low on freon or is it something else. Very possible that your low on refrigerant. I believe Kenmore has a 10 year warranty on the compressor so you should call them first. If your line doesn’t have a service valve to check and/or recharge with refrigerant adding that service valve will void the warranty....

Chosen Solution I am replacing my Google Pixel 4xl screen and digitizer. The screen doesn’t come with the installation adhesive. When I search for the install adhesive, there is no delineation in which version of Pixel xl it will fit. So, is the Google Pixel XL installation adhesive a one size fits all or is there a specific install adhesive for the pixel 4xl? Thanks You should have bought a screen with a frame and there is no adhesive....

Chosen Solution I had my drive axle replaced but not the seal. Which soon leaked bad. So I have now replaced that to. It nolonger leaks. I added a qt of fluid after putting car back together drove few blocks (like a mile) then it stopped so I added second. It drove 4 more blocks and same thing. The car starts runs and will even drive. But only briefly. I can drive 2-4 blocks maybe before the car nolonger accelerates/ moves....

Chosen Solution My cellular data does not reconnect if I’ve been in a dead zone. I then have to turn airplane mode on for about 10 seconds, then turn it off, in order to reconnect to cellular data. Since I work in a factory, this happens a few times an hour and it is very annoying. Anyone every experience this or know why it happens? I was able to resolve the issue by removing the SIM card, cleaning the contacts on the card with a pencil eraser, and sucking out lint from the SIM slot....
