Chosen Solution Hi there, I‘ve got a Macbook Air 11“ Mid 2011 (A1370), unfortunately I spilled a small amount of coffee over the keyboard, enough to have it gone mad after several hours. Sometimes it is all caps, sometimes CMD or other key being blocked, now the row 7, U, J, M are not working at all. I already opened, removed battery, sprayed Iso-Alcohol inside keyboard and logic board parts as best as possible, but didn‘t helped at all....

Chosen Solution My daughter managed to stick a comb in the slot and it turned on and sucked it back in. What do i do??? Open it and try to pull it out. Be very careful because you can damage the inner components. I hope you can fix it.

Chosen Solution Nothing happened, it wasnt dropped, tapped hard, it wasnt even moving. i was playing pool with it on my lap and it was working fine (like it has since the day i bought it) and it just became completly unresponsive. Everything else works fine -home button, volume, power button, wifi, bluetooth, everything but digitizer. Its never been down, dropped or opened. I have no clue whats going on or what to do....

Chosen Solution My display has a vertical line, wide about 2 inches…4cm. as i flip the screen it flickers in different colors. the line does not move to a different part of the screen. When I press the screen from the back of the hinge the line goes away. I know it is some kind of connection issue with the screen cable-connector, but I dont know which part I need…what to do?...

I recently acquired a 2015MBP with a broken screen so I thought I would swap the screen to the 2015 and see if I could get it running. Since the cables were all the same I gave it a try. It wasn’t until I saw it didn’t work that I did some research and found that the video drivers were different....

No backlight or nothing. I’ve powered it on and off multiple times, following all apple instructions, and still nothing. Chosen Solution Hi! Does anybody know what is the encapsulation of the resistor at pin 13 in the HDMI circuit? E.g. 0805, 0603? Thanks in advance! It’s a 26k ohm resister. you can replace it with absolutely any 26k ohm resister, as long as you jump it correctly.

Chosen Solution My EeBook turns on (the screen backlight is visible) but everything else remains black. There is no bootscreen and no BIOS. Multiple attempts at restarting or holding the power button down for longer periods of time give no reliable results. Trying to enter BIOS with F2 (and many other buttons includings Esc, F8, F10, F11, F12) all yield no results. Sporadically after many attempts the Laptop does sometimes turn on....

Chosen Solution i have a 25 year old golf cart and reverse went out. when the knob is turned to reverse , the engine dose not even attempt to engage. it can go forward tho. Chosen Solution I get no internet when I plug the cord directly into my modem, only when I plug it into my router. What could be the cause of this? I need to be able to use the modem to plug directly into, but right now I can’t, it just acts like there is no signal. Thanks for the help! Could it be a bad cord & your wireless is working from the router as it usually would?...

Chosen Solution The trigger on my right controller is stuck “pushing in” when I am in VR. I have tried to disasemble the controller to see if there is anything wrong with it, looks like it’s missing something. What could it be missing? I don’t want to disassemble my left controller needlessly to see if it’s missing something. Ok…well apparently ifixit thinks my answer is spam. I’ll try one last time: I think I may have the same issue, and I fixed it....

Chosen Solution Sinds today I get only partial screen and also flickering , on a second attached monitor the screen image is ok , so attached some pictures question what is most likely the problem lcd inverter or the LCD panel itself ? or a cable connection ? @kv71 bad LCD driver panel. It’s part of the panel. Replacing the panel should fix this.

Chosen Solution I can not get pass the bios pass word screen how can I by pass plz help louie9332, this is a jumperless motherboard. There is no more BIOS reset through removal of a jumper, nor will removal of the battery help. Chosen Solution Can you perform a glass only repair with dry ice on the S8? I know it can be done with liquid nitrogen. You can replace the glass only with a freezing machine. It appears as though a literal freezing machine like the one mentioned by the users above will do the trick. Dry Ice (solid CO2) doesn’t appear to be cold enough.

Chosen Solution I’m trying to resurrect an old Mac Mini (late 2012). When I connect it to my Dell monitor (U3415W) while holding down the Option key, the screen stays black. I don’t see the Apple logo and the same thing happens when I try to go in to recovery mode. Only if I let it boot all the way does the screen finally “turn on” and show something. I’ve tried connecting both HDMI and Display Port with the same results....

Chosen Solution Hi team! I left my laptop at the office and some jerk dropped it! The matter is that it was connected to a short Ethernet cable and my jack ripped of as it fell down! Thankfully the laptop is working absolutely fine but is there a way to just change the Ethernet port or do I need to replace the entire mother board! Hi. Chosen Solution I broke only the glass of the display. Is it possible to replace this? I couldn’t find an answer anywhere. Well, not really… Apple designed the display so its not serviceable. The LCD panel is not available as a spare, only the full display assembly. We don’t have a guide yet but from what we have seen the 14” display setup is very similar to this MacBook Pro 13" Two Thunderbolt Ports Late 2020 Display Assembly Replacement sadly the availability of parts on the open market will be at least 4 to 6 months out and they will be pricy!...

Chosen Solution Can the ram be replaced by desoldering it and soldering on new memory? With the right skills and tools anything is possible! Sadly, replacing the RAM chips on the logic board here is not something a DIY can do.
