Chosen Solution Does anybody know yet if the Face ID sensor (basically the whole front camera assembly) is paired to the logic board? Wondering how that will affect repairs in the future, since the front camera does need to be replaced occasionally. We already know Touch ID can never be repaired with 3rd party parts, and the iPhone 7 and 8 can’t have the “button” replaced at all. I will not be surprised if the front camera doesn’t work at all if replaced....

Chosen Solution Dose motor have to be out to install cam bearings 5.7 & 5.3 no, but i recommend it highly. You could remove the front grill/radiator mount and possibly the bumper depending on clearance. BUT that means, radiator, oil/transmission cooler (if you have those), grill, lights, wire harness, battery removal. You can pry the mount out without removing the quarter panels and wedge it in. Just take care in doing so or you’ll have to hammer out any damage you caused to them....

Chosen Solution Why wont my apps download Hi @shadyharris78 , Have you tried updating the Google Play Store app? Open the app, tap Settings, scroll down to Build Version, tap to enter. If there is an update option select it and allow it to update. Try to download an app and see if it works. If it says it is already up to date, try the following: From Main Menu on phone go to Settings > Apps > swipe right to All > scroll down to Google Play Store, tap to enter, tap clear data....

Chosen Solution I have a Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer Brush. It used to get hot - now I would say barely warm. I don’t see any removable parts to clean it. The brush itself is cleaned after every use. I am guessing it is something inside. Any suggestions? A hairdryer is a very similar principle like a clothes dryer. If the heating element isn’t heating up, it’s because it’s lost continuity (aka broken) and will never heat up....

Chosen Solution Hi all encountered my first screen today that ghost clicked now I have other screens but I wanted to sort this out.. I found that when the screen was closed down or resting of the phone it would go mental and start clicking but when lifted up sometimes would stop so here’s what I done see pic.. Sometimes screens come with this tape of the connector circled mine did but I placed some insulating tape over it and low and behold it worked not a ghost click in sight hope this helps someone....

Chosen Solution Although the FnLock key is functioning there is a spot in which a light is supposed to shine when FnLock is on and it does not. Chosen Solution My fridge and freezer not cooling. All fans are working, changed the capcitor and start relay, compressor runs and gets hot. Compressor tested fine on multimeter. Any ideas? Here’s all the things it could be that I know of. I included the things that you have already checked for other when they look this answer up. The condenser coils being dirty is the number one cause for failure. Just like your air conditioners #1 is a clogged filter....

Chosen Solution The back camera works fine after the screen replacement but when I switch to the front camera it freezes on whatever I was looking at through the back camera, also the ear speaker does not work, however the proximity sensor does…any ideas? The ear speaker, front camera, proximity & light sensor are all on the same cable. The ear speaker is most likely ok it’s the cable that it connects to that needs replaced....

Chosen Solution Hey, so i had a Samsung S7 edge and few months before it’s death it started randomly shutting down and taking a while to turn back on then it eventually died , i tried taking it to Samsung’s rapair center , they took a look and told me they had to replace the entire motherboard and i will lose the data in the process , i tried going to a local repair shop and they said it was cpu related issue(they didn’t seem sure), so my question : is there any way i can Get the phone to work and get the Data back?...

Chosen Solution When I turn on the laptop, the screen is blank and the caps lock button flashes. Not sure what else to do and any help is appreciated. Your laptop’s windows are corrupted. you just have to do that restart the laptop and press F5 for fixing it.

Chosen Solution My A1211 MBP logic board is broken, it currently runs on Boot Camp. My question is what if I move my HDD to a different MBP A1211. Will it recognize the HDD normally with Boot Camp or do I need to do a fresh install? Swapping the drives should be an issue Windows will still work within Boot Camp. You will need to transfer the license over to the new system and some apps which latch onto the CPU’s ID may encounter problems....

Chosen Solution From my personal experience, replacement batteries for laptops and phones sold on amazon, ebay, craigslist, wish, and aliexpress are junk. Most of the “OEM” or “original” ones sold on those sites were used batteries pulled out of dead machines and have a high charge cycle count so they don’t hold a charge. I have a supplier I order batteries from but if it’s an internal battery, I often can’t get a hold of them....

Yesterday I had a not so great idea of cleaning it with rubbing alcohol. so i got a piece of cotton and dampened it in alcohol and made sure to remove the excess of it prior to cleaning my keyboard. Everything was working fine afterwards but today my keyboard COMPLETELY stopped working. I now have read over several forums that alcohol isnt the best way to clean apple products....

Possibly a worn out solenoid? That thing where you warm it up by blasting a hair blow dryer into the back - does that actually work? Chosen Solution My laptop had an accident lately and its CPU start to heat up so fast so I opened it and saw that two of CPU block nuts disconnected from motherboard. I resolderd them but they disconnected again. I tried to resolder them for 4 or 5 times but again they disconnect so quickly. How can I make them to stay in their places and not to fall out? Is there any special adhesive use for this purposed?...
