Chosen Solution I have an alienware 17 R3 that doesn’t seem to boot up. The keyboard lights up, like it wants to boot but the display never comes on and none of the LED indicators show anything working (i.e. hdd indicator) below the monitor. Dell told me the Motherboard is dead…and it is an $1800 motherboard! Any thoughts? What happened that led up to you having this issue? provide more information, how it started to act up and what have you tried to resolve the issue?...

Hi, Don’t know where to find individual parts for the lock but this may be an option to consider for obtaining replacement parts. Just a thought. That part tends to fail quite often , I know its a long shot but if you have a 3D printer or know someone who does you can print it out a strong material like PTEG ,Carbon or PC....

Chosen Solution I’m going to install my Pioneer deck ito my 95 geo prizm and I already have the wiring harness and dash mounting kit the only thing I am missing is a mounting sleeve/cage was wondering if I could use my old one off my Sony deck Hi @whatdoyouwant5 , As long as you have the correct length bracket mounting screws for your Pioneer deck it should be OK. You don’t want to screw into the new deck too far and damage anything by using too long a screw....

You must get it from Apple your self (its a licensed product to your system).Its not legal for anyone to pre-install the OS on your drive. Chosen Solution i dropped my htc 816 the screen went dark(turned off almost), but i still can use the touch screen randomly(i cant see anything on the screen ) i even can answer phone calls, also the side buttons, speakers and mic is still working properly. ? youssef sami, at minimum you knocked the backlight out. The touch still works because the digitizer is ok. I would suggest to open the phone up to make sure that all cables are still properly seated....

Chosen Solution Hello, I have dropped my iPhone X on the floor and my screen is now pretty badly smashed towards the bottom, since then, it has been stuck on the dead battery symbol when I plug it in and will not charge up. i was just wondering what the MOST likely fault is for this? Is it just a simple case of replacing the damaged battery etc. Can’t find any forum where iPhone X gets stuck on this specific screen....

Chosen Solution I dropped my iPhone in hot wax while it was charging and the wax got in the speaker part. Now I can’t hear anything. I picked some wax out of the speaker but still the sound is very faint :( please help! I love it when I hear new and exciting ways of breaking phones! Luckily, this one should be pretty easy to fix. Most likely, the earpiece mesh is clogged up....

Just the screens as the other case parts are different. Chosen Solution So I’ve read a lot about this matter and it appears that upgrading a (Late 2009) 27in iMac Duo Core to a quad core i5/i7 is pretty much a no go. My question then is, could you replace the logic board inside and still run everything smoothly, seeing as it is an available option for this model. Best, Marcin A bit late to the party, but maybe it is still helpful: I did exactly what you were looking to do - upgrading form the lower Core2Duo board to the i5 board (the board should be the same as the i7 board, as other people have successfully upgraded just the CPU on the i5 board to an i7)....

Chosen Solution The hard drive crashed a long time ago. This was my girlfriends computer. I checked it out and installed a new 160 GB hard drive. It still didn’t work and I just put it in a box. It sat for a long time and I think it has a rechargeable batt. for the CMOS which would have died eventually. I think I need to configure the CMOS but I don’t know how....

Chosen Solution I have just replaced the digitiser on an ipad 3rd generation. The unit had been dropped and when I removed the cracked glass there were two of the zif connectors locking bars loose in the case. I replaced the glass put everything back and turned the unit on, it works fine except there is a dark band down the left side of the screen, when i rotate the unit the dark band is evident....
