Chosen Solution After having people over last night, i noticed water dripping from the ice maker. Upon inspection, nothing is working on the door. No water, or ice. The LED display shows the fridge temp, which I can change, and “Set Temperature”. I can switch between the fridge and freezer temps and set them, but after doing so, it never goes back to normal. I am pretty sure that, at this point, the fridge is not cooling, either....

Chosen Solution My radio just stopped working my fuse’s are good what’s wrong? Apparently there are two fuses under the bonnet 5 and 14 for the radio. This is another answer from Ifixit and they will tell you how to find them. Give them the kudos if it works. :) Radio Wont Turn On

Chosen Solution Brand new unit and CD. The CD will play then the tray won’t open obviously, a jam, if you can gain access to the tray try shaking it, putting a toothpick in and wiggling it, or putting a few drops of (liquid) hand sanitizer into it. try methods 1, 2, 3 then 2 again (in that order). hope this helps :)

Chosen Solution After plugging oin my charger, my keyboard gets unbearably hot to work with. I can feel the keyboard getting warm. Is this a problem with the fan or the charger? Kenneth, My first guess would be the fan. My second guess would be dust in the fan or internal heatsink, or both. My third guess is the hard drive. The hard drive, at non-SSD models can run hot if there is something wrong with it....

Chosen Solution my computer shut down suddenly, no warning, then would not turn back on. i replaced the battery and power cord. still wont turn on. why? If you don’t see brand logo at start, your motherboard or one of your RAM stick or your GPU is potentially dead. Try to test the computer RAM stick first (by testing computer ram stick(s) one by one then start the laptop). Then test the motherboad if it doesn’t work....

Chosen Solution im trying to service my 2 xbox elite 1 controllers.both had slight stick drift, but worked fine otherwise.i replaced the case on one of them because the rubber was peeling off.well now i have both of them torn down. and when i test them with batteries and no face plate. they work fine. but if i screw down the face plate it dies, and wont turn back on. same if i squeeze it....

Chosen Solution Hello, My dishwasher stops a few seconds after starting. It did that for a while and initially opening then closing the door would help it continue. Later it needed more open/close for it to do the job. Now it won’t continue at all. When I open it I see water at the bottom. Pressing cancel will drain this out. There are no beeps and nothing on the display to show why it is stopping....

Chosen Solution My display doesn’t close as it did before my repair. I did everything properly but the display isn’t flush to my keyboard after I close it. sometimes when we repair devices we slightly misalign things which can cause this problem or we put a wrong screw in place. many things can go wrong. first check to make sure that the keyboard is on properly and then the rest of the computer....

Chosen Solution Hi guys, Do you think is there any way to solder back this connector to the logic board? I asked some local repair shops but they told me that it is not possible. Any hint would be very appreciated. Also, if you know any shop in Europe able to do the repair it would be great. Regards, Its hard to tell looking at your image. If the solder pads are still present and the connector its self is not damaged someone with the proper tools should be able to remount it....

Of course there is no physical ringer switch on the iPod Touch, but I was able to use Activator to set up an action to toggle the ringer, and it seems that the ringer setting had somehow been disabled....

Chosen Solution I’ve taken it apart to clean the plastic casing but when it turns on 3 seconds into booting the Dsi just freezes You may have messed something up internally. Try dissembling again and check if everything is in place.

Chosen Solution Cannot release the door so I can load the DVD. Any suggestions. Have unplugged unit and plugged in again. Still won’t work There should be a little hole by the eject button. Use a bent paper clip to press on it.

Chosen Solution I have a problem with an ASUS Zenbook UX301LA where 10-20 minutes after I boot up the fan will start running at maximum speed regardless of temperature/CPU usage. If I just start up and leave it idle the fan will kick in after a short time, the temperature sensors show core temp hovering around 32-38°C (90-100°F) and the CPU usage not rising above 2-5%. Once the fan is stuck on max even after a couple of hours idle it won’t come down....

Chosen Solution Hello there, I am using HP Omen gaming Laptop and when gaming I am finding that the fan is running really loud. is there any way to stop this? Not entirely experienced with this but I’d say blow it out with some canned air (or air compressor), that or prop it up on something to increase airflow on the bottom.
