Chosen Solution I’m currently trying to diagnose my TV not powering and I do not have a manual. Here are a few notes: -Screen is black (does not power on). Sound does not work as well. -Performed the “flashlight test” and did not see any “no signal” or anything dimly lit to indicate it is a backlighting issue. Opened up the back of the TV and: -Backlighting board seems fine. I havent taken it out and it is covered by metal but I can see the coils and they do not looked burned....

Upon reapplying thermal paste I broke the sleep sensor cable, after turning on the laptop the magsafe light wouldn’t turn on. The computer works however, but the battery won’t charge it just says it’s connected and that the battery is not charging and on coconut battery is says charging with 0 watts....

When you say radio, is this both for AM as well as FM? Only ask because FM is usually stereo and AM is not (although it can be). If AM is OK and FM not then there may be a problem with the amp, but without a schematic (given nowadays the amp is most probably is contained in a ‘chip’) it may be difficult to locate....

Chosen Solution When I place the charging cord in it will not lock in the port. Have you tried using a different cable? It sounds like the small clips that hold the cable in place may be damaged. Charging ports experience a lot of traffic in plugging and unplugging. Most likely in this situation the charging port has become “worn out” in that the connection may have experienced some slight bending or rather become “warped” and now can no longer hold the cord in place properly....
