I was messing with the drive button and was generally adjusting everything to relearn what it would do. At some point after using the headphone jack etc. etc… It now will not respond to plugging my guitar in. Here is the weird part it sounds like it has a mic plugged in to it....

Chosen Solution I put batteries in it but it won’t start up If that does not work try putting some 90% isopropyl alcohol in the power switch. This works like a charm on our refurb units. Emery Sweeten, Clean the battery contacts inside your game boy with a pen eraser(has a little grit) to remove corrosion or use a Qtip dampened with 90%+ Isopropyl Alcohol to clean contacts. Install another new set of good quality batteries and give it a try....

Anyways, the lcd and digitizer are fine, but I hate having cracked glass. i know that the glue from the glass to the frame is very difficult and super strong in the 6’s HOWEVER, the screen I have is after market and pretty cheap and the adhesive that holds the glass to the frame is super weak and is already starting to fall off....
