Chosen Solution Have a bad turntable input. Makes record sound scratched. Hi @mikedobrovolski , Ifixit does not do repairs, however you can get advice on maybe how to repair it yourself. ;-). Have you verified that it is the amp and not the turntable i.e. faulty needle, cartridge, connections or even the cable that connects to the amp? Here’s the service manual for the amp. (be patient when waiting to download, it takes a little while to find the file) It has the schematics and the parts list which should help you to find the problem....

Chosen Solution Hi there, I was about to take my OnePlus Nord back cover off to test something with my vibration motor and realised that I might have to replace the adhesive when putting things back together. I am new to taking phones apart that use glue, so I wasn’t sure how this would work, especially since the Nord doesn’t require a heatgun to remove the back. Do I need to replace the original adhesive before putting the rear cover back on, or does it fit back together without doing that using other connectors or possibly the original adhesive?...

Chosen Solution Many kettles have a microswitch which needs to be depressed by the kettle being in place before the element gets power. (This is true for many makes). Often we get broken microswitches and they seem to be embedded in the mechanical trip/on/off switch in the base of the kettle - no chance of fixing the microswitch and apparently no way of obtaining a replacement mechanism. Do other repairers have the same problem?...

Chosen Solution So after replacing my battery Face ID is no longer able to register my face always saying to move the phone a little higher and then to move the phone a little lower in a loop. I believe the issue is the dot projector. Heres what i’ve tested so far: putting the original battery back incleaning all connectorsreseating back camerastaking out the sensor module containing the front camera and putting it back inreseating and cleaning everything on the sensors connected to the screencalled apple support who ran diagnostics and said that they didn’t see any issues with the hardwarecleaned the dot projector with isopropyl alcohol The front camera and back cameras still work as well as the proximity sensor and ambient light sensor....

Chosen Solution I did a factory Reboot. Now the phone, Note 3 asks for my Original Password for Samsung when i activated the Note 3, 10 years ago. Resetting the password does Not Work. Chosen Solution the red blinking light on my phone indicating I have a message has been on for the past 2 years. Ever since I changed my phone line to an internet based line, the light won’t stop blinking which wears down the battery quickly. Please explain how to turn this light off. Chosen Solution GE microwave JTP90SP3SS. It also won’t heat food. We just replaced the turntable motor, but that didn’t fix the problem. Does anyone have follow-up steps. Chosen Solution My Bose Wave Radio/CD (2000) CD player stopped working. It will not recognize new cd’s. I have carefully cleaned the cd, use a CD cleaner and the lense (with rubbing alcohol - from another suggestion). I have replaced the 9V battery and unplugged the unit. When I hit the play button it displays the time and CD TRACK 1 for a few seconds and “dISC” and CD flashes. The other features (radio, alarm) work well....

Chosen Solution On my MI 9, the front glass is broken. The AMOLED display is still working, there are no pixel errors and the touch is working well. Is it possible to change only the front glass and not the whole AMOLED dislpay? Maybe yes and maybe it will cost half of the price It’s possible, however really hard, and you might end up permanently damaging the display and digitizer while performing the repair....
