Chosen Solution Hello, I have an old iMac EMC 2266. Somehow, 2 DVDs were inserted into the drive. I managed to get one out but the other is stuck inside and has been for months. I should mention that I have attempted all of the helpful force eject strategies including trying to force eject from the terminal. I am wondering if there is a way to disable the drive permanently so I do not have to listen to the disk trapped inside trying to play or eject....

Chosen Solution My phone is having a problem with face ID it said move little lower and it is very frustrating but my proximity sensor, ambient ligth, front speakers and microphone is still working. I don’t think the flood illuminator , infrared camera and dot projector is not working.But when I use protrait mode in front camera it doesn’t change the stage ligth, stage ligth mono others also and when i use animoji it still works....

Chosen Solution hii my canvas doodle 2 yesterday fall in water and swiched of automatic imidietly. and now it not start. i tried very much but it not start so what can i do for tha… plzz ans quickly… Don’t ever put battery before cleaning the board. First disassemble all parts. Take pcb ie board apart and you can clean it with thinner or white petrol. Take a tooth brush and dip it in thinner and clean the board gently....

Chosen Solution I cleaned all the dust out of my Xbox 360 put it it back together and there is a grinding sound coming from the fan please help! @magicjet_ could be the fan itself. Since it is now cleaned there maybe issue with the fan motor. Not uncommon that the cleaning of dust etc. revealed issues with the motor. Replace the fan and re-evaluate

Chosen Solution I have a rMBP 15 2015, 16GB, 512GB, r9 m370x 2GB, i7 and since day one I never been able to charge my phone on it and Apple never gives a.. As soon as I power on my system the fans goes crazy and you can feel the high temps coming from under the display. I think it’s a VRM problem, but I’m unable to find a source to buy new ones and try replacing them, also tried all possible options via software....

Chosen Solution The flashing question mark on startup has been addressed quite a few times here, but my situation has a bit of a twist, because I’m only getting the flashing question mark sometimes. When I get it, I shut down my macbook, try starting up again, and it’ll start up fine. Sometimes I have to try 3 or 4 times to get it to work, but eventually (so far) it does work....

Chosen Solution I had too much foam in my washing machine, despite changing detergent, cleaning machine, checked for blockages, I eventually gave up and have bought a new machine. I’m now doing its first wash - An empty wash with detergent, as per manufacturers recommendation. I still have the same problem! The drum is full of foam. If I pause the machine, the bubbles pop and the water looks clear. Start it again and within minutes the drum is full of foam....

I’ve installed MacOS on that drive and it’s been running except for the drive access speeds being very slow! Chosen Solution I work in a large independent repair chain and we have experienced an incredibly large amount of iPhone 7 Plus’ coming back with touch screen issues. We have changed the screens once again and the problem persists. We then put on the original screen and there is no problem at all. The problem can sometimes be seen right when the screen has been changed and other times it takes weeks before it shows up....

Chosen Solution Sounds like another bad battery to me. Was the old battery having the same problem? I replaced my Pixel 2 battery using the kit from iFixit. While I have not experienced the issue with it dying at 50% reported life, I do not feel like my battery life improved over the original (2-year-old) battery - I think it’s actually worse. I’ve calibrated it, deleted all unused apps, turned off BT, swept and hibernated apps with CCleaner, and updated to latest software....

Chosen Solution My 7D was caught in a serious downpour and now I can not turn it on. I spend the battery door, removed the lend (canon 70-300 L series) removed the memory card. No Joy completely dead. changed lens, new member card. still nothing. I’ve owned it for several years, so no warranty. Take camera apart and spread parts out and let them dry a few days and try again

Chosen Solution When I plug it in to charge or connect to my car, the connection is very hard to get connected, I have to mess with it and set it just right or it won’t connect. What can I do? either fluff or something in the port or its possibly damaged @treefarm if you find that the connector is actually damaged, you can replace the USB board (daughterboard). Something like this will work....
