Chosen Solution S6 that has been water damaged, ultrasonically cleaned and I can see no short. Main VBAT voltages seem ok, there are a couple of dirty caps (not terrible). No shorts, but it seems pretty brain-dead. Anybody have any idead on where to begin on a case like this. I don’t want to go to straight away indiscriminately changing things like the PMIC. your amp is too low your phone wont charge with that I recommend a 1 amp

Chosen Solution Hi So my friend dropped her 5S in a pool and I have no idea if she immediately turned it off and put it in rice or not. She gave me her 5S in hopes of reviving it. I took out the logic board, soaked it in 90% isopropyl alcohol for a day, replaced the battery, and cleaned out any corrosion that I saw. I reassembled everything back together and notice that the middle of the screen has lost touch functionality and that the CPU was getting abnormally hot and killing the battery life, which to me indicated a short circuit....

Chosen Solution When using the dash cam, the device does not stay on the mount and keeps falling off. This makes the dash cam unusable. What should I do about this? I had similar when mine got very loose on the ball joint. On looking closely I found the cup inside the camera body which is four curved pieces of plastic had one piece broken off. Chosen Solution The display was working one night just fine until we restarted the machine. When the machine booted up, the display remained black. I tested it on a macbook that is working with another cinema display, but nothing happened. I opened up the broken display and reattached the cable connecting to the function port on the logic board. After trying it again, it would flicker and I would see my desktop for a split second before the screen goes black....

Chosen Solution My late 2013 iMac’s replacement display won’t power on at all: No backlight, no LCD (as far as I can tell, with a flashlight shined on it). It does boot with an external display. The internal display doesn’t even appear in System Report when looking at the list of displays. I originally replaced this display because the old one was cracked and wouldn’t power on at all either. I’ve now tried a new display and a new display cable which hasn’t helped at all....

Chosen Solution So basically… I dropped my Samsung J3 in the bath. I immediately fished it out, took the battery out, and carefullly dried the phone and battery with a towel. I left them for 30 minutes wrapped up in a dry towel. About an hour later, I put the battery back in and turned it on. Everything seemed fine, besides the power button not working and the theme I was using being suddenly gone, before the phone turned itself off....

Chosen Solution I am trying to re-attach the spring on the door latch assembly on my GE PVM1790DR1BB. I got the panel off to access the latch assembly but it will not simply pop out as the ones do on those wonderful videos. Am I missing another clip or latch or thing-a-mabob? When the magsafe is connected and not charging it still keeps the mac powered and the powered symbol appears in the UI but says not charging. I’ve done the SMC and PRAM. Chosen Solution Spilt an ice coffee on my laptop. Immediately powered down and took to repair shop. They dismantled it and cleaned it. I now power on and it displays “safe mode” in the top right. The screen flickers when reaching the login page and the laptop is unusable slow. Website take an extremely long time to appear, VLC can’t really play videos.
