My question is something about the screens, apple is having problems replacing these 2 models. It depends on exactly what you mean by “front glass” If you literally mean just the glass, no digitizer and no LCD, then I would expect Face ID to work as it always has. Even replacing the digitizer, I believe should leave Face ID intact....

Chosen Solution I cracked the wii remote front infrared panel while bowling, now it doesn’t point. Can this be fixed? All other functions are still working. Hi @clatekeen, after removing the spiral springs and the screws which connect both controller sides, the Backbone One can be extended by a maximum of 19cm. (7,5 inches). So if you remove the springs and screws that control the middle back piece, you can remove the main connector cable, and unfold it. In that configuration it can be modded to fit an Ipad mini....

Chosen Solution Do you have series 1 screens? Hi @techbuff , It appears that ifixit does not have any Apple watch series 1 screen parts. These are the only parts that is has for the watch. The part is available online. Here is a link to just one supplier. It is not a recommendation to use them. It is shown to give an idea of the cost of the part. There are others online that may suit you better....

Chosen Solution I am stuck at Step 28 of the iPhone 4 button replacement process. There’s just no way to pry the front panel assembly from the steel inner frame. All screws are removed. I even warmed up the unit with a hair dryer to help. No go. Any suggestions? Thanks, Frank There is adhesive at the top and bottom above and below the display. Some heat (about 60 degrees C, you’ll damage the LCD at not much above that, if you can’t touch it and hold your hand on it, its too hot) I generally use (used, I don’t see these often anymore) an isesemo to CAREFULLY run around the edge at the bottom and top to break the glue loose....

Chosen Solution Put in correct date and time but cannot get past this page. Cannot use computer. Your CMOS Battery is dead. Look for a panel on the bottom of your laptop and open it. You should see a small silver round cell battery (around 1 inch diameter). You will have to replace that. they are relatively cheap and can be purchased from amazon and if you really cant wait you can go to a CVS and look for a CR2032 Battery....

Chosen Solution It seems the charging circuit has blown and the unit will power on but not charge. Need to take the unit apart to get to the circuitry but I cannot figure out how to do this. Anyone have a tear down guide? Chosen Solution 2 years ago it has been replaced the logic board, after a few months it was off and is no longer running. now Apple does not want to replace the logic board with the extended warranty program ( i will go to my lawyer). when I connect the magsafe first light is green, then orange and then goes out. does not charge does not turn on no noise the battery LED does not work i tried another magsafe (from my macbook pro 13) but does not work I tried disconnecting the battery cable for 5 min and then reconnected, the problem continues....

Chosen Solution the camera does not recognize fully charged batteries. I have purchased a replacement battery thinking that the battery may have been the problem, but the camera does not recognize either. Even with two fully charged batteries I am unable to take a photo. There is a real good video on you tube so cant take credit for this but essentially all you need do is put a piece of tape over the central terminal of the battery and this will fix the problem....

Chosen Solution Opened my controller to fix my analog drift, while i fix that I accidentally broke what i think it’s called left ribbon cable or something, i was wondering if i need to buy a new one or it can be fixed. if you did rip the ribbon cable, typically its not worth the trouble trying to replace a ribbon cable due to how they are made. its usually easier to just buy a new one....

Chosen Solution lens does not retract in off position. When it is switched on it will not focus and then a message appears to switch off and on . This has no effect @okkie common issue when your camera has a stuck lens. Try the suggestions from here first. Chosen Solution so i tried using glue to fix my iphone 6 but it didnt work out and theres glue on the side of the phone and theres an opening. the glue also made the power button stuck and the screen is broken. i dont know if i can still fix it. Update (08/10/2019) ok so i was able to get the glue off the phone except the power button, i want to know if i can replace the power button even with the glue on it....

Chosen Solution good day!!! my canon rebel t3i captures dark images when the flash is on, and sometimes it produce totally balck image. but when the flash is off it produce a good normal images. in other scenario sometimes the image went well with flash on. this only if i capture a continuous and non stop photos. without flash flash on with dark image result flash on with normal result thank you....

Chosen Solution Right now after repairing (not original service) I can not start my iPhone 6s. I found that some details on motherboard were removed and may be this is a reason. May be service just put another broken board. Is there a way to check motherboard was replaced or not by QR code or something? The board S/N is on the SIM card reader.
