Chosen Solution Car won’t start and has a gearbox fault Reply 23/11/2021. Get your Auto Electrician to check and replace the non conducting paste protecting the connector pins beneath the main fuse box in the engine bay near the battery. I purchased an Xtype AWD 2001 which suffered this problem and the paste had dried out and moisture was apparently causing electric crossing between the pins. This was resolved by removing and replacing this non conductive paste....

Chosen Solution I drive for Uber eats. Lately with my phone plugged into my car and the Uber app open and the screen lit at about mid brightness the charger can’t keep up with the battery drain. I have tried the tips for less power usage in ios11 and that helped but it till can’t keep up. A batt app says I’m charging and the battery has about 87% capacity left....

My Xbox One (1st Gen) is losing the connection to the controllers after reset or an offline update. After half an hour the connection stops and the controller-light is shining brighter as would it be connected. Then you have to shut down the console, becuase it even can’t use an USB cable to connect it to the Xbox....

Chosen Solution I have replaced the wifi/bluetooth board with 3 diffrent types I bought online. I thought it could have been the controller so I got a new one as well. Still won’t stay connected. I think it is the motherboard. Try it out wired using the micro usb cable and plugging it into ur xbox Make sure all the wires are connected, that was my problem.

Chosen Solution greetings, i’ve just replaced the fan in my early 2009 mac mini and everything is working great again. i referenced the guide at Mac mini Model A1283 Fan Replacement (thanks!) the original fan has cushioning on it. you can see the cushioning in the image for step 13 of the guide. the new fan has no cushioning. moving the cushioning from the old fan to the new fan is not a viable option....

First, make sure you have upgraded to the latest version of iTunes. Then connect your iPhone to your computer and select it when it appears under Devices in iTunes. Chosen Solution Hi since a couple of weeks I have a vertical line on my 15” MacBook Pro display (see pictures, Late 2016 model) plus a horizontal flickering issue at the lower part of my display. I already have managed to exchange the display cable (ordered here at iFixIt) but it did not worked. Still the same problems. So, did I something wrong or did I miss something? Chosen Solution Just moved into house and the Kenmore model 66912691 electric dryer won’t stay running! When press start it runs for about five minutes then constantly turns off and on, causing the cycle to not run all the way through. Chosen Solution My iPad with mobile data. iOS 8.3.4 is using very heavy email memory. It’s racked up 1.3G!!! I got just an iCloud account logged in, but I don’t even use it much. My main email accounts are in my iPhone, which hardly use 200mb, but this sucker has 1.3GB! Tried restoring, tried deleting account. Tried everything except restoring without emails. Hope I made this perfectly clear? Any solutions?...

Chosen Solution Midway under the Apple logo during the update error 56 came up and from then I’ve not been able to restore the Ipad back to normal. Same with DFU mode. Tried loading ios 12 beta using http://www.3u.com/ tool. It loaded ok but I cannot activate the Ipad. The error says it cannot - could not be activated because the activation server cannot be reached Ipad was just ouf of warranty....

Chosen Solution I was checking on a potential issue with my laptop’s logic board. Earlier before I worked on the laptop, there were no issues with its display. Since I rebooted, however the screen has changed it now looks a little like a classic Nintendo video game (kind of pixelated) …or a little fuzzy, like bad reception on a pre-digital television…if that makes sense! There are very fine lines on the screen, and those lines flicker or shimmer a little....

Chosen Solution My forcetouch/haptic mouse pad is clicking like crazy. The clicks get more intense as you apply pressure and it impacts the accuracy of the cursor placement a bit. I have tried turning the force touch system preferences settings on and off, with no impact. I reset the NVRAM which helped for a couple of hours, but subsequent attempts to reset the NVRAM have had no impact. The battery doesn’t appear to be swollen....

Chosen Solution Left on vacation freezer door ajar 4 days. Now freezer works but frig will not cool Check to see if you have an iceberg on the coil in the freezer compartment. It can do that pretty quickly if you let room humidity in there for a few days …. assuming you don’t live in the desert. I have had this experience myself. Defrosted and all was well.

Chosen Solution I’m working on a 5 s which took a few knocks and needs the screen replaced. Another problem was that the user couldn’t hear or be heard when making phone calls. I replaced the camera/ mic / earpiece cable as well as the earpiece and clip. That still didn’t solve the problem. Replaced the original parts , no difference. Checked the connector on the logic board and nothing obvious as far as damage goes....

Chosen Solution I’ve inherited my uncles MacBook Pro model a1278 after he died. I had no way of guessing his password so reset it factory settings. I went through the setup process and put in my existing Apple ID and password, it went to the spinning pinwheel at this point and then nothing. After an hour I assumed it had crashed or something so force closed and went through the process again although now it gets as far as “select your keyboard” then gets stuck every time....
