In the tutorial there is only a description how to change from a fusiondrive to SSD. Implements that the SSD on the backside of the mainboard has to be changed. Now my question: where are the “normal” SSDs placed? Are they in the place where normaly the HDD are placed or do you need a special 2GB SSD which fits in the slot on the backside of the mainboard?...

If you want to speed up your laptop, then you should exchange your HDD for SSD after the cloning. If you want the only backup for your laptop, I’m not sure, if the SSD is a great idea and greatest way. But it’s still depending on you, I’m suggesting you exchange your slow HDD for SSD and from the HDD make a spare disc with a backup....

Chosen Solution Hello, My computer will start up and run on battery power but it seems that it is only the case if the MagSafe shows a green light. Other wise if the MagSafe is orange the computer will not respond to even a 10 second power button hold, plugged in or not. Is the battery just not properly calibrated or what? Chosen Solution I recently replaced the cracked screen on my iPhone 5s. Everything works fine and looks fine with the exception of the top-most part of the screen. There are two yellowish spots (I assume from some sort of uneven pressure). I reconnected all the flex cables and made sure the speaker isn’t too tight, but it doesn’t want to go away. Any ideas? Chosen Solution Disks go in and out fine but once in, the drive makes a strange rising and falling buzzing noise. I think it’s struggling to spin the disk up properly so it kind of sounds like it’s slipping. Then it just says there is no disk in there. Anyone got any ideas? Chosen Solution The screen display bottom half is completely black. Before that, it should a couple of green lines horizontally so restarted? Is this logic board? To be sure you can plug in an external display to see if the problem is present on it. Sadly, I think your internal display is damaged, either the LCD ribbon cables or the T-CON board its self connections have failed.
