Chosen Solution Hello, I was using my galaxy s8 last night and I got a low battery notification so I plugged it into my official Samsung charger my phone stayed at around 5% and slowly dropped over the course of around 30 minutes until it hit zero and died. I left it charging overnight and I am unable to get it to turn on. I have tried every button combination and can’t get it into download mode or any other recover screen....
Chosen Solution Siri stopped working and I tried turning Siri off and back on. I wasn’t able to go through the “hey Siri” setup. It had images of noise while nothing is said. I tried a front self video and the sound is scratchy. I have also tried a full restore and reload…. after tapping on the microphone at front camera, it is working now but I’m sure it will quit again....

Chosen Solution here is the cable, can this be repaired Hi This can indeed be repaired but I can’t see it lasting very long as it would require stripping the cable at its weakest point (connector housing and stress relief You would also need another lightning connector which are quite hard to come by unless you find a donor cable But if you could find a wiring diagram and strip the cable back to the issues cables you could solder them onto their pads accordingly and put come shrink wrap over it to seal it up I think your best option would be to buy a new one though and recycle the old one as it requires very small soldering and it may not last Hopefully this helps Any questions please ask Thanks:-)

Chosen Solution I disassembled the tool. There’s a separate section with the chuck that is easily removable, but I cannot figure how to take it apart… and I repair stuff all the time. So here I am. It looks as if something is clogging the slots in the collet, preventing it from gripping… if I could get it apart, I could clean it. The Collet Nut simply unscrews, and the Collet gets pulled straight out....

Chosen Solution I had placed my iPod to charge on a docking station. Noticed battery was dead when looking closely at it it had a spot on the front cover like it got too hot and melted. Took it to apple they said all is fine inside but not to use the same dock again and that the battery just got way to hot when charging. Not holding a charge now and my iPod is all I have with my music, pc crashed don’t want to hinder loosing my music....

Chosen Solution Hi, I would like to disconect the battery because I use always use it in a dock. If I remove the battery conector, the iPod refuses to work, although the power cable is plugged. If the battery is dead, the iPod refuses to work too, although the power cable is plugged. How can I do? there are a few problems you should take care of, the only way it could work would be: removing the power connectors from the dock on the logic board, place the + & - contacts from the dock connecor on the battery contacts (thats why the power must be removed from the logic board, you don’t want to short it - right ?...

Still no power , both sensors on heating element, and thermal fuse. what else could it be could something came lose when i was moving it around?
