Every time I power down my MacBook Pro 2012 and power it up the date and time keep resetting to 01/01/21. I am using Catalina as my OS. Chosen Solution When trying to connect the Sonos Play:1 to the WiFi connect, the device received no connection. The could be caused by different reasons. Check to see how strong of a signal the router is producing. If the signal is weak, consider powering off the router and re-powering or simply just moving closer to the router. Another problem could be that the wireless adapter could be damaged and needs to be replaced....

Chosen Solution MY disc tray wont open sometimes unless i tap the top an it wont open standing up at all Help me i took it apart to clean laser when it wouldnt read discs but the tray sticks anybody please HELP ME thanks Mine was doing the same thing so I took it apart. The upper stabilizer is magnetized & was holding onto the drive wheel too tight. I put a disc in & as long as it always has a disc inserted it opens & closes just fine....

Chosen Solution Dropped PS Vita now there is no video, only a black screen. The screen did not crack/break in any way. It still seems to be working otherwise. You can still hear sounds etc. So do I need to replace the screen or has something came loose on the inside? The only way to know that is to open it up and reseat the video cables. I have seen both scenarios where the screen wasnt cracked, but still bad after a drop and also where the video cables had come loose....

Chosen Solution Today I tried updating my PS3 slim to the latest version. However, I got an error code 8002F07C, forcing the installation to stop at 99% complete. I tried booting the system in Safe Mode, but it only brings me back to System Update for another install attempt. I contacted PSN tech support already. They told me to unplug the system for a couple minutes then try again - fail....

Chosen Solution A Flashing folder with a question mark appears when booting up. The keyboard is not responsing so I am unable to reset smc and pram or boot in to recovery. The trackpad is also not responsing. Chosen Solution So this is confusing to me, our garage freezer has had this error before and it was due to a freeze up likely with the high humidity we deal with. This was ~1.5 yrs ago. The error code popped up again and I figured it was the same issue. Pulled it apart and no ice buildup at all. Went into diagnostic mode and the fan can be started without a problem both on low and high mode....

Chosen Solution Hi, I need to remove my front iron sight. To do that I need to remove my muzzle first. How Do I do that? I cant figure it out. Thank You for your help, Jaro The front iron sight can be removed with a mallet and punch. Altough you would need to have a new rail system to go with it. Since the handguard isn’t a free float design....

I also tryed different Screens. The Board is a C/AGS-CPU-11 - AGS 001. Since the screens are working on other 001 devices. I am clueless… I also wanted to replace the power switch. But before I do this I wanted to ask you guys if it’s a hopeless rescue action....

Chosen Solution Hello great people of iFixit. :) I received an iPhone 5c on which acetone has been spilled. The plastic on the back made a big bulge, but the battery seems perfectly fine (phewf), I cleaned most of the corrosive and the phone works pretty normal. Some liquid came into the display, which is visible. The person whose phone it is says that there are often “Ghost touches” - after he locks the device and unlocks it they are gone for a while....

Chosen Solution Hi, managed to break my S8 glass…I’ve found a company that does glass only repairs at a good price…however none of these places use OEM glass. Assuming all the panels come from China we don’t know what quality andf strength they are. Question is if I pay to have it replaced, is it just going to break if I look at it wrong, or do they use similar to gorilla glass 5 spec?...

Chosen Solution Can you buy replacement motors? carolyn.menzies39 we would need to know if this is Thomas the Tank Engine or Thomas & Friends Thomas with Track . One uses a higher voltage motor etc. 6V vs. 12V So see what you can find out to identify and clarify. In the meantime take a look at the guide Disassembling the Thomas Ride On Train Step 4 shows the motor. You may have to disassemble it and post some good pictures so we can see what it looks like and provide more help to get you motor for it....

Chosen Solution like could you recycle solder for wires and components to store and use later instead of being forced to by new solder on a fixed budget I think that you will find that any attempt to re-use solder will cost more than using new. Realize that you will need to add flux to any connection you attempt with the used solder. Add in the time and electricity required for heat and you will quickly exceed the cost of a roll of solder....

Chosen Solution My friend Oshi using iPhone 6 iOS 12 and she updated her iPhone iOS to 12.4.6. The issue is she Cannot Make/Receive Calls After Update. What should be the reason for this? How can I fix this? Try backing up her data and resetting the phone completely and restore her data from the backup.

Chosen Solution The charger broke off in the charger port and was wondering how I could get it out? When we went to charge it it broke off Charger what broke off? The plug? If there was enough force placed to break it off, I’d say the internal receptacle is most likely damaged as well. One trick I use to get plugs out is to get some Silly Putty. Squish it into the plug, then quickly yank....
