Chosen Solution My Macbook Pro doesn’t turn on but the Magsafe 2 light when you plug it in goes green then to amber. when i press the keys shift Control alt power the magsafe light goes green after i release it goes back to amber this also happens with the battery plug removed The logic board had a little water damage and was cleaned up So i want to see if any one had or has this issue to see were what Im going to do to fix this myself....

Chosen Solution hi looking for help ran a dvd in the laptop last night and it worked fine woke up this morning and its making a clicking sound and wont load the dvd up it is spinning but wont load it using a 3rd party dvd player (5k player) The clicking is the search head going back and forth trying to read the disk. This can be caused by an unreadable disk or contamination on the read head, contamination on the lens or a failed drive....

Chosen Solution Hello, I am currently repairing an iPhone 6, came in with problems with not being able to hear anything on the speaker or ear speaker as well as a broken screen. I quickly changed the screen, works obviously, and i attempted replacing the camera speaker sensor flex as well as the speaker itself. Cant hear anything AT ALL. As in not even static or something faint in the background, can hear nothing....

Chosen Solution I connected the laptop with the TV using HDMI cable and lightning strike..,, the TV and the laptop went off…, the TV powered on after some months without repair but the laptop is still not going on The Lightning strike may have fried the port and then it fried the board. You may have to open it up and look for any damage on the inside.

Chosen Solution I’ve spent the last 3 hours trying different ways of fixing my Beats X and none of them have worked. I’ve tried resetting them, updating them with the Beats Updater, charging them for an hour straight, etc. and they just won’t turn on. When I plug them in a white light appears on the power button but as soon as I unplug them it turns off and they don’t turn on....

Chosen Solution I was printing many pages and forgot to check it. When I checked it said paper jam. I checked, no paper jam. I reset it and one of these errors comes up. Carriage slams into left wall when turning on then shows either error0xE3 or 0xE5. I cleaned the clear strip, cleaned the ink pad under ink plate. Unplugged, let sit for over 30 minutes. Plugged it back in, it went through the steps but at the final slide of the carriage, it slammed into the left wall....

Chosen Solution Hi So I got this macbook from a freind, it was working fine until one day, there was the chime but just loud fans no apple logo or anything else, a PRAM reset is not possible I ve reset the smc a couple of times and tried all different combinations of RAM etc, I can t seem to find a description of this problem anywhere thanks Damien Update hi thanks for your answer, I tried connecting a display and nothing happened, still the same thing, I ve considered it might be RAM slot death or a bad smc chip, and the unit doesn t have a hard drive in it but it never gets the folder with a question mark it just has a white screen and, also the caps lock light doesn t turn when its on, yet it clearly lets me reset the smc, so it is a very strange problem Update I figured out what it was it turns out the wifi/isight cable was preventing startup for some reason with it disconnected it starts up just fine...

I recently purchased an ipod with a dead switch (meaning it had no spring left) and I can’t for the life of me figure out where to buy this part. Chosen Solution Hello I have a SSD with 109 GB and one HDD with 1 TB. I want to know if I can combine/merge them together so I can have only one virtual drive? Thank you You can do that but the laptop needs to support RAID 0 configuration which is where data stored is shared between two drives. I don’t recommend doing this because it doubles the chances of drive failure as if either drives or laptop goes faulty you end up losing all the data as both drives need to be working to access the data....

My screen is having a horizontal lines in the bottom till the middle of the screen as it shown in the picture When I let my MacBook Pro runs for more than 4 hours the lines start to appear and within the time the lines get darker. When I shut down the computer and turn it on immediately the lines get less darker and if I shut it down for some time the lines disappear....

Chosen Solution My GoPro no longer seems to be holding date/time. I’m assuming this is due to the motherboard battery? If so, is that replaceable? If so, what type of battery and are there online instructions? I’ve seen the Hero 3 tear down page, so I know it has a soldered on motherboard battery but even that teardown does not remove/call out the onboard battery type and removal/replacement. Chosen Solution So, I was using my oneplus one and it randomly shut off. It wont respond to anything. That means, double taps, any gestures or plugging it into a charger or computer. I know I had enough battery to last about 5-6 hours. It charged just fine. My power button and volume buttons dont work. I think I messed them up while I replacing the screen. Weird thing, the power button worked when I made the switch so I was able to turn on the phone but then just stopped working after it like literally 10 minutes later....

I thought I could just trick the open/close sensor system or so any idea? where is that bugger, in the hinge? Located on the back of the right side of the keyboard, about in the middle. It is commonly called a reed switch. By sliding a paperclip along the bezel bottom you can locate the magnet in the bezel....
