Sometimes when activated it buzzed with a typical electrical noise - like overhead power lines in rainy weather - and the display does not come on. To answer your question, it doesn’t matter either way. Whether you charge with a usb power adapter or with your computer, the device can be off or on. Chosen Solution Hi all, My printer is displaying the following message: “There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn printer off, then on. If the problem persists, contact HP.” Of course I have tried turning it off and on and doing full power cycles and resets, to no avail. It’s worth mentioning that there was previously an internal ink leak. The black ink cartridge started leaking and so the printer head was bathed in black ink and it dropped down inside the case and even out of the bottom corner....

Chosen Solution Hi Guys. I accidentally drop my macbook and dented the right hand side of it. The right USB port is dead and I got the message “USB Accessories Disabled - Unplug the accessory using too much power to re-enable USB devices”. Sometimes the message shows up, sometimes it’s not. The SD and HDMI port are working normally though. I noticed a few things: For some random days, I put it on sleep mode at full battery but after 2 or 3 days without any usage, the battery is fully drained....

Chosen Solution I have an old MBA 2010 edition which has a dead motherboard but a new screen and a MBA 2011 with a screen that is going bad. So, is easier to remove the screen on the 2010 to install it on the 2011 MBA, or is it easier just to take the motherboard and SSD hard drive out of the 2011 and install them in the 2010? Thanks...

Chosen Solution I tried literally everything: bigger bit, super glue, rubber band, duct tape, compressed air. I’m not sure what should I do right now, because I just don’t know how that screw extraction kit works, as there are no videos on YouTube about it. Chosen Solution The FaceTime camera was working then stopped. No previous repairs that I know of. Haven’t dropped the MBP; sits on my desk most of the time. Ideas? BeetsTech has a camera connector ($6 bucks) or a screen ($367 bucks) for replacement. Anyway to differentiate which may be causing the problem? Chosen Solution My samsung upright refrigerator has the freezer in the bottom. It stopped working but the fridge part is working well. Actually the freezer becomes a fridge. Don’t know why. We unplugged and kept it off for 24 hours, but problem still there. However, if we “power freeze”, the freezer will work until we turn off “power freeze” button. Not sure what to do by myself. Do I need to buy a new one?...

Chosen Solution there is power to the freezer but no lights inside, or green indicator light, freezer not running. could it be the main control board? its a frigidiare model fffu16f2vw Hi @coppa Here’s the wiring diagram for the freezer. If there’s power on control board connector CN1 pins 1 & 3 then it looks like the board is faulty. The control board (part #5304521525) has a fuse (F1) and an inrush current suppressor (NTC1) so check if they’re both OK first....

Chosen Solution Display used to work, now can’t see anything but colors are visible in cracks (see image). Want to replace display. Hooked to my TV via Tb3 port and Tb3—>mini-display connector—>HDMI. Took it to apple and they wouldnt even open it up Sharp straight tweezers can get the part out without opening it. Can you post a picture of it here? Clicking makes me think a relay coil is pulling in but perhaps the contacts aren’t plugged down (relay is not all the way engaged (pressed) into its socket) or an associated fuse is not pressed down....

I have followed the instruction on how to do it with the MacBook Air and actually completed successfully the second time I ran it"Restore", but still the MacBook Air did not came back to life. Since then every time I run it I get the same error messages and then the fans turn on at high speed for about 1 minute and then stops, then Apple Configurator 2 shows “Recovery” on the screen....
