Looking up the serial number in everymac returns that this should be an EMC 2308, this is also the case for some other sites that describe this iMac in general. But then there is one site which returns a little more specific information, and there it is stated that this iMac has EMC 2551. And, indeed, under the footstand, next to the serial number, it says clearly EMC 2551....

Chosen Solution Hi, I have a sitting/standing desk, which should allow me to change the height of the desk. The design of the desk is one pole attached to the legs, which has a thinner pole inside it, which is attached to the flat desk surface. The screw which holds the inside pole attached to the flat desk surface in place seems to have worn down so that it can no longer hold the pole in position (I now have the desk propped up with yoga mats on each side)....

Chosen Solution Is it possible to alter the motherboard to allow the ipad to update to iOS 7 ? Is there another way we could update the software ? I don’t think that the hardware on the iPad 1 would be able to run iOS 6 and certainly not iOS 7. Each version of iOS is more resource intensive. The iPad 1 would be very unstable running 6 or 7. I do not think that there is any way to force the iPad 1 to run iOS 6 - not even jailbreaking....

Chosen Solution Hey I have a iPod touch 6th gen come in for repair anyways, this is the third one that came in wasn’t charging or turning on… so I decided to change the battery and re solder a new one in. It’ll charge very quickly and drain fast as well. I’m not sure if it’s the batteries I am getting off eBay or if something hardware is at fault on the logic board causing this issue....

Biggest issue with a panel that size will be that they are either totally unavailable or cost more than a replacement TV. You can always try and see if you find the identical model TV that is not working due to other issues than the panel. Then harvest the LCD from that one....

Chosen Solution I hadn’t used my Canon 70D in about a week. Then powered it up. Everything looked fine. When i pressed the shutter and took the picture nothing but a pixelated white image appeared on my display. I cleaned the sensor manually, checked the battery, All good. The same thing happens when I switch to video mode. I guess my question is, Do i need to replace the entire display as I’ve seen on a couple YT videos?...

Restored to factory setting countless time, but still not to avail. Always failed at the “activation server cannot be reached” thingy. I know the server might be busy, but for the whole week? Connected to laptop and itunes, but an error popped up saying that I need to put the simcard correctly (eventhough the phone picked up the cellular signal perfectly) so i cannot activate it using itunes either....
