Chosen Solution My problem was originally as such: I plug in the PS3.The red power light turns on.I press the power button. The PS3 beeps.The fan spins up; the power light turns green.After a few moments, both the fan and the power light turn off. Pressing the power button does nothing. I have to unplug the machine and leave it for some time in order to get the power light to glow again, and still I’m unable to power it on....

Chosen Solution Hey fixers! so i lost my phone when i was out drinking and fortunately it got found. since i have it back, when i charge it it shows the charging logo on the screen but after a few seconds the screen gets a bit brighter and then stops. so it doesnt go to the screen where you see the battery with the percentage in there or the led light which is usually red when it charges in the top right corner....

First off when plugged in the battery light blinks instead of being solid red and windows says its plugged in but not charging. Windows reports my battery at a constant 55% even though it should be going down when unplugged. Also the laptop only turns on when plugged in but can run unplugged right afterwards. Chosen Solution I fitted a new Samsung LCD two months ago now the customer has brought it back with heavy discoloration to the lcd. I used an original Samsung LCD service pack, so its not a cheap Chinese copy. To me it looks as if it’s has some sort of pressure on it but the customer claims it hasn’t. I give a 3 month warranty with all my repairs and if it was something caused by my work then I’d swap the screen under the warranty without hesitation....

Chosen Solution Have done everything except buy a sim card. It called 32 sd card. still not working. Hi, Is there a provision in the tablet to even install a SIM card as I cannot find it in the user manual for the tablet to verify this? If not it cannot be used as a phone as such. You can connect to the internet via WiFi and then you may be able to use apps such as Google Duo, Skype, Facebook or We Chat etc to contact others but they would also have to be on these platforms as well....

Chosen Solution After dropping in water, left powered off. Disassembled and cleaned with alcohol. Replaced charging daughterboard because I thought the USB connector was damaged. Replaced battery. When I plug phone into charger the display comes up, battery goes to 100%. I can’t turn the phone on by holding the power button. The phone does not respond to wireless charging pad. Is motherboard damaged, how can it tell if so?...

I recently replaced the screen and battery with the ifixit kit. while the phone was open I didn’t notice anything wrong with the connectors. After screen replacement the sensors still respond to light and change brightness. Id really love to get the cameras and face id working since the iphone x would be a cool upgrade from my 7 hahaha!...

Chosen Solution iStat Menus shows the temperature sensor of GPU die is not working. It wasn’t the case before disassembly. Where is that sensor located? I changed the thermal paste on GPU and CPU and replaced my HDD with SSD. But it is not an SSD related problem because when I plug back in HDD fans are still spinning at the highest RPM. The reason was to replace HDD with SSD, renew thermal paste on GPU and CPU....

Chosen Solution Transmission has been rebuilt. Shifts great! It just lights up wrong gear. Unless I can get the light in park (P) or neutral (N) it will not start. I need to bypass safety switch or fix whatever lights up gears. It sounds like you may have 2 separate issues going on here. 1: your shift cable needs adjusted to show the correct gear. And 2: you need to check the safety switch....

Chosen Solution Hi! Front-facing camera worked fine since I got the 6S a year ago new. Since loading ios 12.1.4 last week, the front camera is now blurry. The whole screen is out of focus. It hasn’t ever been used much. Not a big selfie person! Rear camera works as it should. Chosen Solution How does one go about removing and replacing the front wheel bearings on the 2008 Kia Optima? Unfortunately, I looked up your vehicle and it appears that you have pressed bearings, meaning you can’t undo couple bolts and put a new one, you have to have a press and a couple other tools. Your best bet is to take it to a shop, it’ll pay off just not having to do it yourself it’s a pain....

Chosen Solution reviving old thread. anyway, I did a test for continuity and it is ok. I even opened up the boiler and clean the heat element and found no rupture. I put everything back and GFCI still trips as soon as i press the power button. Any idea what else I should check? machine was working then after descaling, the tripping of gfci happened. I am about to work on opening up the pump and cleaning it too but would like to see if there are any other thing I should check....

Chosen Solution Volume to low when all the way up. Can’t hardly hear the other person on the other line It is probably the earpiece speaker that is going bad. Make sure the front facing camera and the proximity sensor are working. If they are both in working condition, I would replace the earpiece speaker first. If the camera or proximity sensor is not working, it is most likely the cable that contacts the earpiece speaker....
