Chosen Solution Original issue: We recently replaced the display on this MacBook. After installing the replacement, when we screw the bottom casing back on and use the computer, the entire system freezes (display stays on, nothing moves, won’t go to sleep). However, if we leave the two screws in the top corners of the bottom casing out of the machine, it works perfectly. Also, it works perfectly in safe mode regardless of whether the two screws are installed or not....

Assuming that the device has power if you still have the install CD or can get the OS installed on some form of portable media try booting from that instead of your regular OS.

I think it started running hot, or the fan started to make a lot of noise (I was 14 so I don’t remember very well) then I think it started taking longer to boot up, and sometimes would not boot up at all (I would get a solid-color screen the precursor to the startup sequence, but nothing more)....

Chosen Solution My 2002 Honda Accord with 82500 miles on it jerks a bit when accelerating. Nothing happens to the speed but the rpm drops and then again increases and then the car picks up speed. Well, the acid from the cat puke might have already corroded some essential parts on your Motherboard. I would open up the Xbox as soon as possible and clean every square inch of it with <90% Isopropyl Alcohol. Thats your only chance (it is slim that it will even work again) to get the Xbox working again properly....
