Chosen Solution Hello everyone, I have an Alienware 15 R3 (i7-6700HQ & GTX 1070). Recently my laptop would overheat and its idle temp would be 92 C. I opened up the laptop repasted the GPU and CPU with arctic mx-4 and after the assembly the display wouldn’t work. The display works when booting with D + Power button and flashes all colors correctly. When connecting with an exterior monitor via HDMI the lcd display doesn’t show anything yet the external monitor works fine....

Chosen Solution When I press the power button, the dell logo shows on the laptop, then nothing. But, when I plug an external monitor into the laptop, the device is actually booting into windows and is functional through the external monitor. In settings the only screen recognised is the external monitor. I know the laptop screen is working as it shows the dell icon on boot but nothing else. Also if I press the power button while holding down D it runs the colour test on the laptop screen it works fine, but even booting into the bios does not display in the laptop, only the logo + colour test Can anyone help?...

Chosen Solution I have 2 s6 active phones that need a new digitizer but they are double the price of a s5 active digitizer , will the s5 active digitizer work on the s6 active? They almost look identical but the price is doubled. If you are referring to the LCD digitizer, then no. They are not compatible as S6 active has more pins in the connector.

Chosen Solution I have a Kenmore dryer it’s older, it won’t start unless I have the button pushed in( when I keep the button pushed it ends up stopping after like 5 Seconds) and it won’t spin. The best thing you could do is just call a mechanic, he knows how things like that work, As I am 15 years old I don’t know a lot about this but what you could do is try to open one of the sides or the bottom and see if all cables are still connected correctly....

There’s no parts on the market for that. You’ll have to buy another similar module and extract that part in order to fix it. Chosen Solution Soda hot spilled in my charger cord. Don’t know how long the cord was in the soda. I shook the cord out and let it sit for a little while. I plugged it in my phone. Chosen Solution Hi, we left the batteries in our Finepix S9500 for far to long in storage and they corroded the battery housing. When they were removed they broke off a couple of the contacts so I don’t think it will work after cleaning away the corrosion etc (although we have tried). Chosen Solution Ccd-trv21 camera will not function even from plugged in adapter. This is an old camcorder that is likely beyond economical repair. These were known to have capacitors that would leak causing some traces to become either corroded or broken completely. There is no fix for this. Since you report no function at all, I would suspect that this has happened over the last many years. Without examining the camera, I can’t say for sure, but I have seen many of these (although not recently) with the described condition....

Chosen Solution I purchased a Talk n Play from a rummage sale and I took it home and the cassette tape doesn’t play or rewind. In order for me to hear the tape, I have to hold down the pause button ever so slightly. The Child Guidance Talk n Play 1984 toy was most likely dropped in the past and the buttons are damaged, meaning they shifted up in the toy, that’s why you have to press down the pause button to hear anything because the play button is behind the pause button, You’d have to take it apart to realign the buttons....

See your Acura dealer about a replacement, and ensure you’re sitting down....

Chosen Solution Hey! I bought this tablet about 6 month ago, and dropped it accidentally today (2 feet from the ground). When I boot it up, I can barely see the samsung logo and the flashy animation, I can also see some of the apps/animations of swiping etc. So I guess the tablet still works. Chosen Solution My Android Rebel 4 is stuck in continuous bootloop. How do I fix this Hi @nettie162774 , Try removing the battery then wait for 5 minutes before placing it back in and then try to turn on the phone. LG is known to have bootloop issues that are related to bad boards. Sadly it’s usually not something you can fix with a battery removal. The board needs to be reworked to run for data recovery and it needs to be replaced....

Chosen Solution I have a small crack that hasn’t spiderwebbed too much. Wondering whats the best solution to fill the crack. I use a clear nail polish to fill. Clear nail polish works or a good resin. None of that cheap stuff. https://crackeraser.com/ is a really good one.

Chosen Solution My 2014 MBP froze with a solid cursor, so I forced a reboot. I then was only getting to the load screen, with the progress indicator stuck to 100%. Again, forced a hard reboot. Then, I got nothing, with no picture on the screen, just a dim backlight. PRAM and SMC reset did nothing, and I wasn’t able to boot into any recovery or safe mode, nor use any bootable USB sticks, and I couldn’t toggle the caps lock key....
