Chosen Solution Hello. My house was hit by lightning and it came in through my internet radio antenna and proceeded to fry various electronics connected via my router, switch, and Ethernet cables. My PS4Pro was one of the devices. The network/lan card is fried and doesn’t work anymore. Is there a way to replace it? Thanks It is probably the ethernet chip on the PS4’s logic board. Unfortunately these are soldered on and will require micro-soldering to replace that chip....

Chosen Solution I dropped my iphone in water for not even 3 seconds. The diagnosis was that the battery was not keeping charge and the display had broken due to contact with water. I bought an extra battery and extra display from iFixit, replaced these parts and it is now working. The battery is working just fine but the display keeps on blinking. Any thoughts on how to fix it? Tks in advance....

Chosen Solution It feels like the back is loose in the corner where the charger is and the charger doesn’t sit right in the port. Also, now my screen has started blinking when I open the lid. shelrs81, here is a decent video about the repair. A replacement port is readily available at places like this and many others.

Chosen Solution Running Manjaro KDE, cold boot and after 10 minutes idle, the device is operating upward of 70c, while CPU usage is under 5%. SSD is an aftermarket OWC if that matters. Already repasted with Arctic MX2. Make sure you got a good contact with the heat pipes after you reapplied the thermal paste. If that is not the issue than, the only other thing i can think of is the cpu fan isn’t working properly or it is a software issue....

Chosen Solution So I’ve got that imac and it works fine, upgraded the CPU and put a SSD in it but it always had a bit of a weird issue. First it started randomly dimming, it was still full brightness but it sometimes dimmed for a while, a bit more on the right, then went back up again. I don’t think it’s the temps as the computer still ran fine. Now, the display randomly shuts off, black screen but the computer is still running....

Chosen Solution sony ex330 is workin well ant after 1minute the picture will become double downwords like ghos?t manobabu, sounds like a T-con board issue. Check your wiring from and to the T-con board. Also, check for obvious damage, like burned, swollen or leaking caps. In very few instances this can also be caused by a faulty power supply. Once we can determine exactly what model your TV is, we can most likely find more specific instructions....

Chosen Solution I was cooking a spaghetti squash in my 2 year old GE Profile microwave. After about 10 minutes, the squash exploded, the microwave went dead and the breaker was tripped. I reset the breaker, had power to the microwave and tried again. The microwave stopped after 1 second and tripped the breaker again. I repeated this with the same results.
