Chosen Solution I’m replacing the screen digitizer on my iPad 6 as there were unresponsive zones on the screen. I’m planning to buy an Apple Pencil soon, so will replacing the digitizer with a third-party brand cause the Apple Pencil not to work as intended?
Chosen Solution I dropped my iphone 6 in water and the screen appears to be working. I wondering if i could use the screen on another phone. Is this a bad idea? The answer is maybe. You would want to clean any corrosion from the connectors, so it makes a good connection to the new phone. Also look if any liquid is stuck between the backlight and the LCD (will show up as dark spots on the screen when the backlight is on)....
Chosen Solution We have a kenmore dryer that seems to randomly stop working. It will work for maybe one cycle and then stop, it has an electric control panel and it appears to be totally dead, no response to any button press. it does have power though, as the drum light comes on. If I disconnect power, then disconnect all cables from the control board and reassemble, it starts working again....
Chosen Solution My Echo is out of warrantee and recently she has been very strange. She frequently doesn’t respond to my voice commands and then shuts down and/or says she lost internet connection, which is fine with other devices. Could it be steam from shower (which is low as I keep door open in bathroom when shower is being used) or something else? She is acting like a misfiring robot from an 80s sitcom at times....
Chosen Solution The Contact Pin on the back of the watch have faded away on my watch, making it impossible to charge. Anyone else have that problem? I had the same problem just last week. Today I went to Fry’s to buy a Circuit Writer. Cost about $20. It’s a conductive pen that’s similar to a paint pen. I cleaned the back of the watch. Then used the pen to cover the faded areas of the contact pins, waited for it to dry, plugged it in, and BOOM… now IT CHARGES!...

I think I have a fan issue as when I use Photoshop it shuts down every 5-10 minutes but after a rest I can tap a key and bring it back up. How can I tell what fan needs replacing? Chosen Solution Can’t hear or be heard when making calls. I tested the mic with voice memo and that works fine. facetime is working fine, I can receive text messages and the network has full bars all the time. Basically everything else is working fine, the phone is updated to the latest version. I was thinking it could be the headphone jack so I tried cleaning the lint out of it, but no luck, headphones as far as music etc… but still can’t hear or be heard on calls....
Chosen Solution Can you replace the entire display assembly with one from another iPhone 7? Like without unscrewing the home button or anything else on the display. To have the home button work you will need to move it to the new screen because apple locks the home button to the motherboard but other than that you will be good

Led lights tend to draw far less power than bulbs, and this tricks the relay into thinking it’s trying to drive a burnt out bulb....

Here’s a video that shows how to remove the radio from the dashboard. Once you have it out you’ll have to work out how to open the section where the CD player is housed....

Chosen Solution so i have the a1989 2.3ghz (2018 13” mbp with touch bar) and i got a new keyboard and screen for it myself because apple wouldn’t fix it for some reason… so i try starting the computer up and the apple logo and progress bar are on screen but then the screen MOSTLY turns black for about 30 seconds and then goes back to normal. also when i close the lid the computer won’t go to sleep and sometimes it messes with the touch bar....

No, the PS4 has multiple different power supplies (different connectors) depending on it’s model (CUH-xxxxx) and additonally, the PS4 Pro uses a completely different power supply meaning you won’t be able to use any non-Pro PS4 ones on the PS4-Pro. I would also assume the power supplies on the PS4 pro follow a similar model variant scheme so better to get the model number off the power supply itself when you take it out of the PS4....

Chosen Solution I have maybe 10 (bad) Yoga X1 g3 LCDs Mostly available to rework. They have broken digitizer causing a replacement in the field. I attempted to remove an LCD today (from a known bad LCD) and found it is quite difficult to remove without cracking the LCD. I am willing to put in time and effort to get this working, as I have a HP laptop which I confirmed physically connected worked perfectly, and providing much better resolution and colors....

Chosen Solution I recently dropped my phone, despite being in a case a large black line has appeared on the screen. There is no external screen damage as such, however the charging port is also slightly damaged. I presume this will require an entire screen replacement to be fixed as it is not a software issue? yes, from the picture it does look like your screen will need to be replaced....
